C.W. Stoneking is an authentic Australian singer-songwriter, guitarist and banjo player, known for his unique blues and boogaloo style.
One of Stoneking's greatest powers are his voice and ability to tell stories through his music. When he sings, his music transports the audience into a world filled with vintage blues, hokum and jump-jive. C.W. effortlessly weaves together these diverse styles, creating a seamless and captivating sound.
C.W. Stoneking will be joined by his Primitive Horn Orchestra: the band that have been his long time collaborators, Stephen Grant, James Clark, Grant Arthur, to perform songs we know and love from his back catalogue.
The Primitive Horn Orchestra first appeared on Stoneking’s album, Jungle Blues. The album has since been certified gold and the band joined him for extensive touring both internationally and in Australia.
Stoneking's talent has been recognised through industry awards and nominations, too numerous to mention here, that include his albums "King Hokum" (2007), "Jungle Blues" (2009), and "Gon' Boogaloo" (2015).
CW Stoneking and His Primitive Horn Orchestra will be performing an exclusive show at GreazeFest, on Sunday August 4.
